Need a bit of advice

I met a guy through a mural friend it was ages before met in person but I already liked him, his personality came through his emails and texts. I thought he was real nice looking and kind hearted . We have texted for ages and then we met , I've not kissed anyone on a first date a nd to be honest I didn't want to go when it ended. We saw each other loads but I knew deep down he didn't want a relationship, he having issues with an ex being very nasty and this is on top of other personal problems. He was honest about a Month ago and said he don't want a relationship, but we have been out for trips out and we still kiss etc, and came close to sex recently. We text daily , I feel comfortable with th h him and care a lot. I went on a date last week with a different guy,he kind ,nice but there wasn't the passion , I actually felt like I was cheating on my friend. He all I think about, I don't if to wait and see if he sorts himself out, as when we together we are great , we laugh , have similar interests, there is a major physical attraction.
