Well, since I was a small child, I had problems talking to people or opening up to someone. After a long and harsh period of time of disappointments, I became real shy. Even online. I can't speak up my mind b/c I think a dozen of times about other peoples opinions, or what they'd think about my answers. This thing has been going on for a good deal of time, and i don't know what to do. I'm too shy to talk even in games to ppl, afraid of making them upset, or making them hate me; I speak only to close friends and family. It might seem funny to some people, but it's really troubling when you experience this. People call me anti-social, shy, boring, lifeless, just because I can speak up. I'm wondering about what should I do. Anyone?

Howsit. My childhood was pretty simmilar to yours and my social life sucked and it made me feel really sorry for myself and because I was always focusing on my issues the more complex they seemed to get. My advice is to start small, read inspirational books and start a little spiritual journey (Buddhism) which teaches you more about your true inner self so you can forget about the image you created for yourself. Do one little thing each dAy that doesn't reminde you of anything but brings you the feeling of anything is possible. You create your future and before you know it youl see that everyone els is also just their own individual with their own hidden insecurities. One book that really had a good impact on my life was MIND POWER by John Kehoe. Good luck and live life to the fullest every day and youl get addicted to it and everything will fall into place:)
