I miss and love my best friend

I fell in love with my best friend, it started out as a crush from the first time I saw him he told me he had a crush on me since then to but he had a girlfriend we became friends and one day he kissed me a couple days later he dumped her and the next day I went to his we had sex and he said that me and him might start dating once hes ready I was whiling to wait but we argued about a vew things and he liked me a little less but still liked me, we fixed it and we havent seen each other in a while cause college is off he was suposed to come stay at mine and he canceled I asked him why each time he says my looks and our closeness goes down to him and he said " I cant do this" I think he nno longer likes me but I love him with all my heart and I can't live without him I belive hes my soulmate I've never felt this way before what should I do?
