My lady broke up with me

i have been having a relationship with a lady for about 8 months now,we work together for 2 hours a night 5 days a week and this is how our relationship started,she is married and has been for about 25 years but the last 8 years she hasnt been happy with her hubby despite her attempts to speak with him to resolve matters which havent worked or if they have are only for a few days then they go back to normal,anyway during this 8 months or us having a relationship she has said i have made her happy loved and wanted and we have had made love several times ,my problem is now i truly think i have pressurised to much into moving in with me and to be mine,i have grown madly in love with her but she says she cant just leave her hubby coz he hasnt really done anything wrong she did say that she would prefer to move out and get a place of her own and that we see each other and get to know each other more be making any definate plans but at the moment cant afford to,which i can understand,but because i have been going on and wanting too much too quick she has now broken off with me but wants to remain freinds as she says this would be better and freindship could lead to something more in time,she has decided to change jobs,i have said that i would find it hard to stay freinds after having a 8 month relationship of lots of cuddles and kisses and making love,she is 54 and i am 48,she hides her feelings and i show them and get really down at times and even cry in front of her,which i know is silly but i cant help it when i see her as i love her to bits,she has been honest from the start and says she cant promise anything and couldnt give a time scale as to when if she would move out,i live on my own and really miss her and the cuddles and kisses and many people have said pull back for a while and let her come to you if she will,but a day seems a month to me,iam so much in love with her and she has said she has feelings still for me, any advice would be welcome

I think your friends are right, your best chance of having her is to let her realise she's better off with you. And that means going along with what she wants, being friends and having the distance she needs. Obviously she has other things in her life and she needs to sort it out herself in her way. I know its hard but you need patience
