Left me, got a new person but still remenisce

Here is the problem, i once deeply loved a girl over the internet, we know each other for 5 years. She told me she will come to my country, city to study. However she didn't, i than lost all communication with her. She told me she also had problems with her family. Ever since than we didn't communicate anymore, but i can say, i loved her deeply. I've decided to bury the love for her deep down. Now, a new person entered my life. I also love this person dearly. I some time think about the well once my lover. I question my self, why has she done this to me. I really want to know why! Few days ago, a friend stumble across her friendster and told me that she was active on it. Now I am thinking that i have the opportunity to ask her all sorts of questions regarding to our once relation. I am stuck between a delima, should I seek, the chances are slim that she will talk to me ( i am assuming). I don't know why i keep thinking from time to time about her. I feel bad. help!
