I wonder if he is saying the truth and am I overthinking this whole thing...

I met this guy on IMVU,a chat application. We chatted for quite a few times over about 7 months. At times when Im offline, he will leave messages asking how am I and saying things like miss me etc. During the latest chat, he gave me his number and told me that he enjoyed talking to me as I have a nice personality. At times during our chat online, flirtatious remarks were also exchanged. Decent conversations were also exchanged during the online chats. As he gave me the number, I decided to text him too. Now, we are able to exchange texts via phone. Flirtatious remarks were also exchanged during the text messages. During conversation, he said that he thinks about me. And I asked really? He replied that he was thinking of me cause he was texting me. Recently,he went overseas and only has internet access at certain locations. He texted me in the afternoon about 4pm saying hey. We exchanged a few texts and he asked if I was busy. He added that if I was busy, he will leave the spot and talk to me later. I replied and asked if he especially went to an internet spot to talk to me. He replied that he is thinking of me. Usually, he starts the conversation and he was telling me that I should start conversation too because it seems that he is always the one starting it. He also added that he would not mind being my close friend. We have not met up with each other but we know how each other looks like. He will also want to play the Guessing Game with me to know more about me,not only physical stuff but anything. Im not too sure if he likes me or am I over thinking this issue.

It seems as though you two are rather close, as you talk and flirt often. It's also apparent that he is making a rather conscious effort to become close to you, but intends to take it slow so as to truly get to know you on a more personal level, rather than a solely physical level. That being said, from what you have written he looks to be quite interested in you.
