Love - yey or ney?

Hey, guys! I really need some help regarding my relationship. Me and my boyfriend have been together almost a year. Everything was perfect. Of course we had our little fights but i didn't pay much attention to them. However i guess he got tired of them all. He said that he can't do this any more and walked away. I saw tears in his eyes.. I know he loves me, I know he can't stay a day without seeing or talking to me but he is keeping his distance and successfully ignores me. He wants to be friends, like we used to be before. But how can you be a friend with someone who you love? Our friends were shocked. When they know about it they said "we can't believe it!! Are you sure he said that? OMG what's wrong with him???". I can't believe it eater. Why did he do that to "us"? What should I do??

Hello, ok first of all I don't know why people let little things bother them so much which is what it sounds like your ex bf was doing. Second he may still love you but he may need some time. It really doesn't matter what your friends or anybody else says it matters about how you 2 feel about each other & what you want. Are you wanting to talk to him about this?

Out of experience, I can say that your boyfriend loves you. It may be puppy love, but it's still love. He doesn't need time, he need you to hold on to him. He needs you to support him and understand his feelings. Sounds like he has more of a female perspective and you have more of a male perspective. This is very common. You need to listen to his words, let him know that you care, and be willing to make changes. You'll never know what could have been of your relationship if you end it now like this, with so many questions. If you love him, then tell him how you feel. Ask him to explain to you what hurt him, and how you guys and both work it out. If he says that he still just wants to be friends, ask him if he is absolutely sure. If he says yes, then as him one more time saying "Are you absolutely sure? This is the last time I will ask you" and if he still says yes, then keep your distance for a while because he might be wanting your presence without the responsibility. Don't be used. After you both have no romantic feelings for each other, you guys can stay friends. Relationships can be quite tricky. You have to read the person's mind- not his words. Trust your instincts.
