I received a text from my x a week ago apologizing for destroying our relationship. He also said that he still cares about me and asked for forgiveness. I responded a few days later and said I forgive and care also. No response back. Was this his way of saying it's really over, and Goodbye?

Sound like hes testing the water..can you say booty call sorry to be blunt but if was sincere he would have gotten in touch. My guess is hes hoping to keep you at arms length just in case dont buy it.

I think a little more info is needed in order to answer fully. How long were you both together? How and why did it end? How long have you both been apart?
