Engaged after a month

Ok, so my best friend got engaged after knowing this guy for 6 months. She said she loved him yet everyone was against it. He was incredibly emotionally abusive and she ended up in counseling. Finally, on October 12, after 14 months, she broke off the engagement. On October 22, she had her first date with this new guy (whom she had just met the week before), and now on November 17, she has told me that they are getting married....... Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy? Btw, she is 21. The first fiance was 30, the second is 25.

Yes, it's crazy. She needs to get over her previous relationship first and that could take awhile. She is basically on rebound with this new guy and that's never healthy for anyone. But, it's her life and she needs to do what she thinks is best for her. You, on the other hand can only watch and wait and make a decision whether you need to continue to be her best friend. You have your own life to lead without looking out for her after she has made her own bed.
