Bad at this

So this may come off as silly, the whole thing, but I'm just about the worst at figuring out if someone likes me, if they are hitting on me or making a move or hint. There's this guy, he lives on the same road as me, we went to the same high school for two years. When I was in senior year a couple of years back we started taking interest in each other flirting,I think, both super shy and awkward about it. Both of us not the greatest teenagers, did the usually party teenage thing. We made out one time but I shrugged it off as nothing because we were drunk. I drove him to school a few times and we had great talks. Then senior year ended and I just decided it was all in my head and he didn't care about me, I didn't even believe my cousin who said he told her he liked me. We hadn't talked since I graduated. I still thought about him constantly. We both had a relationship with other people since then and then just very recently he gets in touch with me. We talked for five hours and at the end he said feel free to message me anytime, it was great talking to a friend I haven't talked to in forever.Like I said before,this was gonna be silly. Was that a guy move or am I right and that wasn't a guy move?

Stop overthinking - just go along with it and continue keeping in touch with each other.. talking and hanging out, only then you'll see where it goes. Get to know each other again and only time will tell what happens. You're not silly, you have a crush on him but you need to slow down. He left the door open for further communication down the line, if a guy didn't like talking to you or didn't want to, he wouldn't leave the invite open. Invite him to go somewhere with you, something fun, an activity. Don't stress or make this any complicated than it really is. Have fun and go with the flow.
