Should we stay together or brake up?

I just really need some advice...I'm 19 my boyfriend is 23. We're in a long distance relationship. We live on opposite ends of the U.S. We've been together for 7 months...things were great at the beginning but lately we've been fighting a bit (I've hardly ever fought in past relationships)..we're young and we're learning and we love each other..but here's the part I really need some advice with.....My family and I just bought a new house about 2 weeks ago, we want to move in ASAP but first we are doing some construction & remodeling. Today I woke up early and spent most of the day working on the house (tearing out parts that need replacing and parts that my family & I don't want)...My phone was in the car all day...I get done at 7pm, check my phone and my boyfriend has called me like ten times throughout the day..I also have a text from him saying "hey I'm done with you. I don't want this relationship. I'm unhappy."....the thing is, he's tried to brake up with me a few times before..most times he was drunk and said the reason was because he wasn't good enough for me or didn't make me happy enough..anyway so I took a few deep breaths and decided not to get too upset. I figured there were three things my boyfriend could've done:..#1 he learned fast: he broke up with me out of a rush of frustration & then took a deep breath and realized how silly he was being. I'll call him & he'll most likely say disregard that brake up text I was acting dumb....#2 he learned slow: out of a rush of frustration he broke up with me along with blocking me on fb & deleting pics..by the time I call he will have unblocked me & the first thing he'll say is I'm sorry..#3 he will learn through time: I'll call and he'll still be upset that I didn't answer his calls earlier.....so I call him & he sounds completely calm, he didn't block me on fb or do anything dramatic but he did tear up aftet sending that brake up text..I ask him if he realizes that he completely over reacted by braking up with me just bc I was busy..he says yes but he doesn't sound like he actually believes it...should I brake up with him?

It sounds like your boyfriend might have some mood/emotional problems. He also might have a problem with alcohol ... might even be an alcoholic (drinking too much plus feeling sorry for oneself - "I'm not good enough for you" - can be one manifestation of alcoholism). He does not seem like a stable person. It would be healthier for you to break up with him and find someone who is more steadfast and emotionally stable.
