Is he using me?

I am really good friends with a guy at school, and I really like him, but he has a girlfriend. Normally, I'd just accept that and hope to get over it, but he is really flirty and touchy with me. Like we'll give each other massages, and he'll have me play with his hair, and he puts his arm around my waist all the time. He's only like this with me, and maybe it's just because we're really close friends, but frankly it's bothering me so much. All of it just makes me like him more and several people think we're dating. I would hate to ruin his relationship and I know I'm being selfish by not telling him to stop being so touchy. I hate to say it, but I think he either likes me and doesn't quite know it or he's unconsciously using me as some sort of physical comfort replacement for his long distance relationship. I couldn't possibly end my friendship with him and I just don't know what to do or think.

I think that by the sounds of it you do have a good friendship and because of this i think it would be your duty to tell him that he should not be acting this way if he is in a relationship with somebody else. How would she feel if she knew? How would YOU feel if you were in her position? Tell him to take some time to think about what he wants without sounding too tense or awkward because this will show him how simple to solution is. Maybe his relationship is going through a few issues if he feels he has to reach out to you or possible you are right. One of my exes for example constantly reaches out to me emotionally when his long term relationship gets rocky. Your friend has a problem he has to sort out otherwise you and his girlfriend may really really get hurt.
