Difficult lover

I am presently in a relationship with a guy am in love with. As at the time we met, he just got out of a committed relationship based on the issue of infidelity infactt they were about having their introduction. Barely two weeks into our relationship, we had a misunderstanding and i angrily told him that i was calling off the relationship. Later, i begged him and asked him for forgiveness. But ever since that time, he has been non-responsive to me, infact i am the only one trying to make the relationship work. i have begged him severally but he just wouldnt budge. he seems not to be bothered when we dont see for weeks but he complains that i dont call or cook for him. In fact i just dont understand him. Have tried opting out but seems difficult. He is someone i was attracted to even before we started dating. what do i do?
