How can one socialize when you are working at home?

I'm 26 and I haven't had a boyfriend yet. I work homebased and working in an office again is not an ideal option. The pay is low and I can only get one job and in that rate I wouldn't be able to help out my parents nor even have any extra money left for me to save. My only option for work right now is to freelance at home. The problem is that I'm always stuck at home. What little hope of getting exposed to dating is now close to zero chance. I'm wondering if there is another way to meet new people and gain new friends. I'm not in a hurry to be in a relationship. I just wish I can still socialize even if I don't go out a lot. I just want to get ideas on how to meet new people online and where. If you could share your experience that would be really helpful.

You can try online dating or groups. Some of the better sites cost money though. I'm signed up on eharmony and it costs about $30 a month. Try finding an activity that you love and find a group to hang out with. For example, If you like to play softball look for a group that gets together weekly to play softball. You can find these online or sometimes on facebook. Hope this helps.
