Is he still interested?

So I have been seeing this guy. We started off as friends but a few weeks ago, he said he has had feelings for me for a while. We have been on a couple of dates which have gone well. However, he hasn't said he loves me, kissed me, or done the stereotypical dating gestures. That part I don't mind. Last Saturday, I had to cancel our plans together due to the amount of work I had to do. I apologised to him and he said it was fine. I then messaged him as I normally do today asking him about his recent trip. There was no reply. Have I messed this potential relationship up because I chose work over him? Or am I taking this too seriously and expecting more than what he actually wants?

First off u need to get the stereotypical images out of ur head of how u think things should be. You said yourself that he told u he's had feelings for u for awhile. I think it's great that he's taking things slow. I think it makes them much more special when they do happen. U have a life and work. He has a life and work. That's a good thing. Maybe that's why he hasn't texted back. Don't read to much into that it probably has nothing to do with u. I feel like these days instead of ppl just calling they text and it makes things so much more impersonal. Maybe just give him a ring and ask him about his day. I don't think you messed anything up u were working don't be so hard on yourself. Just take the relationship at a steady pace without pushing the I love yous and first kisses. Those things are special and will happen in their own time. Just be happy and live life. I think as women we tend to want those lovey things to fast. And saying I love u to some one should be special and not just something you say just to say it. Just make sure u continue to make time for each other no matter how busy your schedules get. But yes I do think ur reading to much into it just give him a call love.
