I've been living with and engaged to an older man 20 years older he has just informed me there is no way possible he can marry cause he will not be able to receive social security benefits if he remarrys after being widowed from deceased previous wife

how old are you ? 20 years difference is a lot : at one point the difference will start to show obviously - why do you want to get married ?
