I just need to be loved

I just need your sincere opinion on this. I am 17 years old and I have a family who can provide me with shelter, Food, Education, sometimes gadgets. I love my family, I really do but sometimes I feel isolated even though were not a broken family whatsoever. There is something that i dont like about them, for instance, they are caring if ONLY you obey what they want but if you don't, they hurt me with words like 'You should be grateful' or they tease you to death. I don't like that, they are focused on what im doing wrong instead of what im doing right. It hurted me emotionally, even my little sister is just like me, she stays at my aunt all the time and im stuck here at 'home' with my parents and their favorite child (which is my older sibling). I just need to be loved to be able to love myself. What do you think? Is it me who make the problem worse?

I grew up with similar circumstances. My advice is to get a job (if you don't already have one). This provides two things: money and an excuse to spend less time at home. Then save, save, save your money so you can move out as soon as you turn 18 or graduate high school. The day I moved out of my parents' house was one of the best days of my life. Once you are out, everything can change. They no longer need to be a part of your life if you don't want them to be. Toxic people are toxic people no matter if you share blood with them or not. It's going to be hard until you can get out, but once you do all your hard work and money saving will be worth it. When I was your age, I had an after school job and lined up multiple babysitting jobs on the weekends so I literally only went home to sleep. I moved out when I started college and never looked back. Trust me, it will get better.
