Is he playing??

In September 2023, a neighbor and I started communicating and occasionally meeting up due to our busy schedules—he works 8-12 hours a day, while I'm unemployed due to disability and caring for my sickly 92-year-old mother. Despite occasional communication issues, he expressed a desire to marry and start a family, and we've both shared fond feelings. However, after two intimate encounters, he's cut off communication each time, attributing it to insecurities. Recently, he ignored my texts after our second encounter. Additionally, I suspect he was with another woman last week, despite his denial. His behavior raises concerns about his sincerity and intentions. Should I consider ending things?

Regardless what you suspect, it's his actions which will do the talking here. If he really needed to be with you, he would find the time & a way, despite his long working hours & particularly when he's mentioned marriage & kiddies. You on the other hand, can sit & wait for the next text or you can just ignore him & end it as you suggest. Whatever your gut tells you to do, listen to it, as it could well save you some grief in the long run.

PS: I agree he's a Player (or Manipulator, paving the future way) - definitely - as in - 'Could the Pope be Catholic?'. But what I mean is - is that enough confirmation for you that you can decide what to do about it?
