I never thought I would be in this position, but here I am, trying to make sense of a silence that feels heavier than any spoken goodbye. Being ghosted is not just someone leaving. It is the slow fading of connection, the confusion that comes with unanswered messages, and the aching realization that someone you cared about chose to disappear without explanation. All communications have their duration. Most of my friendships ran their course over the years. Eventually you just reach an impasse where you realize you no longer click with this person. I've been actually ghosted a few times, I think. But there is one especially memorable time. I guess what hurts the most is knowing you didn't mean enough to the person for them to just be real with you. Like if they came right out and said they don't want to see you anymore... Well, it sucks, but at least you can respect that. My experiences? Most of these "ghosters" really aren't worth fretting over. They usually just crave attention, and like to have control over people by messing with their access to them whenever it suits them. They usually aren't that smart, and get by on looks.

I saw a great picture this week that said 'REJECTION IS REDIRECTION' I love knowing where NOT to pour my energy, wasting my time. There are all kinds of wonderful things I can and want to do with my life. If you love your life, what other people think really doesn't matter as much. This world is full of 'obstacles' getting in the way of everyone's ability to be free and peaceful. Feel sorry for them, wish them well, and work hard to stay healthy, happy, free, on your tracks.

That's pretty much the impression I was getting from the start, but I gave the user the benefit of the doubt.

Those three things (suspected - gave benefit of doubt - then penny immediately dropped) are precisely why I'm in the process of trying to 'hire' you. :)))) Aye...Often, it's a case of, 'give 'em enough rope and they'll hang themselves'. PS: So many "Funny, Thats" - so little time. ;D And now, me doth suspecteth(eth), we have ANOTHER one trying to lure posters to their own site. Well - PFFF...who cares if they visit? That's not how professionals compete - we just continue shining harder than the dross out there. Hence, we don't need to chase custom. Here - maybe we should start taking Reservations? (joke)
