My father is helpless

My dad is now 61. He retired 1.5 years back from a private company where he worked since 1993. He gets PF from govt office as monthly pension but that's very little. He is obliged to get an installment of $1,360 from his company every 3-4 months. Since last 6 months, he didn't got any fund from his company. He did got funds normally last year. My father is not getting any job offer too. He is sitting helpless and unemployed at home. He applied in so many places but still nobody called him. He enquired his friends too but no calls. He is trying hard to find a job for last one year. Company where he worked is in some legal trouble that is why they are not giving funds to my dad. We don't even have any alternative income sources or any passive income. My dad has an MBA degree and very fluent in English. Therefore, my dad is in serious need of money. He needs help ASAP. We don't even have enough money to start a business too.

Hey Jetae, Has your father tried applying for retail or janitorial positions? Having a well put-together resume is the first step. If he is desperate, then he needs to find an industry that always needs workers and that is within his physical ability to do. He's got to bring in some income, or get more work experience through volunteer work. If he worked for a company that is potentially corrupt, then he needs to come up with other references who can vouch for his experience and skill. After all, how many people who work for that company can be trusted???
