Am here new please how does this forum works
Hi!
The forum works like a conversation. You post messages that other people can read and respond to.
You only need to start a new thread when the topic is entirely different. You may therefore continue by adding your problem to this thread.
Welcome to the forums, Aguzaza.
Talk with us about anything on your mind. I would leave out really identifiable personal information, but you can get down to the nitty-gritty of your issues as much as you want.
Some of the threads on here have been ongoing for years. They've turned into conversations about other things and have diverged from the original subject matter, but still serve as a place for people to discuss how things have been going and keep up with the moderators and other regular (and new!) visitors here. If you leave for a while and return, and want to focus on a new issue, then that is fine, also. I think a clean slate can be nice for decluttering, so I'm not going to judge you too harshly if you stop posting in one thread and start anew in another one. I kind of want to do that, myself.
People will respond to you once they are able. It could be a week or two, or someone could catch you in a matter of days. Just depends on when people get around to checking back.
I hope that is helpful!
(Psst, Balance: Barbie Girl (usually a non-posting backroom mod but whom emerged due to my absence) was correct: You're only supposed to start a new thread if your problem topic changes. With this the case - and as I haven't yet read the opening of your new post (it'll be next) - if it's the same topic, I'll have to copy and paste the opener back into your original thread. What I can do, however, is delineate it, i.e. make it clear you're starting a new *chapter* of your psych journey - or starting from scratch, retracing steps. Whichever... I'll take a look at it soon.)
The rest of it was definitely helpful, though - thank-you. :)
