College and Gf

I need some advice on my issue. I met my girlfriend in highschool last year i was a senior and she was a sophomore. I graduated and made a choice to stay home and go to community college local in a way for her. I love her, we connect in a different way due to our backgrounds with parents, alcoholics and what not. We decied im gonna finish community for 2 years and when she goes to college id go with her. She is looking at colleges i like as well. Im scared its a bad idea i mean i love her and i really want it too work out but does it seem like im setting up for disaster?.. We have had our fair share of arguments like nay couple. I worry because i am a very protective pessimistic boyfriend. College isnt easy with all the temptations for us both. But we both agree we dotn care. Should i let her go on her own? or try to go with her? ( i am not soo "gun ho about long distance it hurts too much) please help!
