I need help understanding

my problem is I've been In a relationship more thn two years Im a single father I have my own two bedroom apartment anyway I'm comfortable in my lifestyle I work I drive I'm very laid back at my job I pay less thn a hundred for my two bedroom so my issue is my girlfriend wants me to get a better job so I can leave my place to live in together mind me she has a two yr old daughter still lives wit her parents and just recently started workin a month ago should I leave my job get a better payin job and pay $1400 a month for a thre bedroom or continue to fight to stay in my two bedroom which I only pay $100 and accommodate her daughter and my daughter in one room am I wrong or am I right and pls explain I wanna understand if it's me
