I've been seeing my boyfriend for 16 months and we live 50 miles apart. Generally we are really happy, he is loving, fun to be with, generous, we share common interests, but he has another side. When something has upset him he goes in to a sulky mood, often pacing up and down, sighing, and this can last for days. When asked what is wrong he says everything is fine. When this happens I am trying to think what I have said wrong, and churning up inside. When he snaps out of it, he either tells me what I said wrong, or says that nothing was wrong. Then he is his usual lively self. It's happening more regularly now,and I'm on the points of finishing, as the atmosphere can be so awful. Help!!

I finished with my boyfriend a week ago. Sad, as we had some wonderful times, but I could see that his moods were a way of controlling me in the end, as I took some advice from a professional. I don't think things will improve for you, these men are control freaks! Get out sooner rather than later!
