Hurting badly

this hasn't happened to me before, i've been in a relationship for just over a year now, and this boy i've been with for the year has been my everything still is, but it feels different now, the spark doesn't feel like it's their as much anymore, ive tried speaking to him about it but nothing seems to be changing and what makes it worse is that this lad has been speaking to me, but this lad is a half friend of my partner, i say half because in their group of 'friends' their not really that close, and this lad who has been speaking to me is further of a friend of his than the others, but at first we was just speaking over facebook about work, because were all on the same agency, and we would talk about everyone walking their together and coming home together as we do night shifts, and now it's progressed to him flirting with me, i try not to flirt back because i do love my boyfriend, but its not sexual flirting it's just this lad saying im 'beautiful' and that my partners a lucky guy, and just being sweet always checking to see if i'm okay and we non-stop speak until either one of us gets too tired, i haven't been spoken to like this in months, not regulary, not like i feel i should be being told, me and partner used to be the cutest but it's just died, yet it's only been a year so the spark shouldn't be on it's way out already should it? i just don't know what i'm meant to do, i love my partner of course i do but i can't get this other lad out of my mind:(

It sounds like you and your partner have just fallen out of love or they are just not giving you what you need. I think you like this other guy and it sounds like its what you need you said " I haven't been spoken to like that in months" sounds like you miss this. I know you love this person ,but I think you just need to tell them it's not working out so that yall can move on. A so called "spark" can come and go don't think it should last a certain amount of time. I hope you figure things out:)
