Don't know where we stand, should we talk?

A month and a half ago there was this party at my workplace. I got drunk and I slept with a coworker, a guy I already liked a little bit. He asked to see me again after and we have several times but just kissed. He is usually the one to start talking to me. Ive been trying to let him be the one to iniate things. Right now he lives far away from me, around a 7- 9 hour drive or an hour flight. I am staying in the town he lives in right now and im seeing him soon. We kissed some days ago but I am having my doubts for some reason. I want to know whether he likes me, or rather what he wants. What should I do? Should I ask him or should I just let things evolve by themselves. I hate not knowing. Please help?
