What should I do about my crush?

Okay. I am 15 and I have a crush that is also 15. He goes to my school. I have no classes with him, so the only time I see him, it's either in the halls or at my best friend's house. He knows I like him, and I wasn't sure if he liked me back. So I wrote him a note asking if I should give up on trying to get him or not. He told one of his friends that is also my friend that he had just moved here and that his aunt is a b*tch. He said that if he gets a gf he has to bring her home to show his aunt. So he told our mutual friend that it was something to think about. He said that he wasn't going to respond to me and that he doesn't think it would be a good idea to have a girlfriend at this time because of his aunt. Our mutual friend said that I should ask him again in about a month. But I don't know if I can wait another month of crushing. He is perfect in my eyes, every time I'm around him I get extremely nervous and don't talk. We have never had a full on conversation about anything really, but that's because I'm really shy. I don't know how I should act around him now that I know he somewhat likes me but he "can't be in a relationship right now". Please help me with my shyness/anxiety. I really have no idea how to act around him now. And if you haven't already guessed, I'm not the best "people person".

I think the affection you have currently is a physical one, or a conditional one. Meaning you like how he looks or you like a few actions he did towards you. It can't be emotional, as you haven't had the opportunity to really know him yet. This means that this love may not be as big of a love as you think it is. For instance if you got to know him he might not be all you expected him to be. However, to get over this just treat him as a friend. Drop a few Hi's everyone once in a while, it may be hard to do that in real life since you're shy. But find some opportunities to talk to him, if he doesn't initiate conversation with you, you'll have to initiate with him if you want this to go anywhere. There is a few ways of making the initiation less awkward. First being at opportunities when you naturally see him, such as when you're at your best friends house or maybe in the halls. Probably the easiest situation is via some sort of social media or text. You may be thinking "I can never do that!" Well you're gonna have to if you want it to go anywhere. If he won't speak to you naturally then you have to speak to him, that's the only way. You'll have to do it eventually so why not start now? It'd probably be easier to take baby steps though, i.e say hi, how are you? Have a small conversation, then branch out into bigger ones to build self-confidence on a smaller scale before cracking under nervousness in big conversations I hope that helped, good luck, and have a wonderful day :)
