I am ugly

My mom says i look ugly cos am fat and mt sis looks pretty cos shes thin. It hurts me alot to hear those words from her constantly. Am trying really hard to lose some weight but it still takes time lots of time. But my mom wont understand she keeps criticizing me saying i look ugly. Am so fed of her,of this life.

It can be hurtful to hear those things especially from your mother. I could say to tell her "well stop looking at me if you find me so ugly" or "well its a good thing I'm not asking you out on a date then isn't it" lol and you may want to say them some times just for fun but really, I would suggest just letting your mother know that you are trying to lose weight and her hurtful words are not helping you do so. We can not stop others from saying what they will say. So if she continues to be negative towards you just let her know that her negative attitude towards you will cause you to be more distant from her and not want to be around her as much. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder any way. She should say you are beautiful because you are a nice person, of have pretty eyes, or a nice smile even though in her opinion thinner people are more attractive and keep at the weight loss goal and don't let her discourage you or cause you to give up.
